    Works as described no digital read out of actual temperature the probe is not listed in diagram not sure what it does maybe nothing You will need your own thermometer in the soil to see actual temperature reading as far as I can tell. I should have read the fine print I would much rather one that has an actual temperature digital reading of what the probe is measuring in the soil.
